Can you flower with CFL??

    I was wondering if you can flowers succesfully with CFL, if so would it take longer than HPS, :confused:

    i started out with two dual bulb 4' shop lights. added one more of the same and then when flowering started i added 3 100w cfl's (one for each plant), things are starting to look nice and sticky!

    yup! wont be as good, but it works!

    Hell yeah! You won't get as much bud as with a HPS, but get some big watts and position em right, and you won't be disappointed. Flowering needs red light, color temp 2700k-ish, or regular soft white. I threw in a daylight bulb too, for a little balance in the spectrum.

    CFLs get the job done. i used them and im seeing great results.
    Go for it. but up the watts

    You can bud just as good with clf / flourescents as with HPS, as long as you have enough light. many has already proven on this forum you dont get Whipsy buds with flourescents when done the right way.
