Can you add or switch fertilizers in mid grow?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by MotoAnt, Jul 29, 2023.

  1. My girls are roughly 2 1/2 months old, outdoor potted and 4' tall. Started with Foxfarm Big Bloom and just went to reorder on Amazon and it's 10 bucks more than what I paid just 2 months ago. I'm not cheap but goddamn.

Do I bite the bullet and stay with the FF Big Bloom or would it be safe to go with Something like Big Bud?

Thanks in advance for the help.

  2. Stick with what works.

  3. I'd also go with tiger bloom if you are only using big bloom as your only flower nutrient as tiger bloom is 2-8-4 where big bloom is 0-.5-.7

  4. What does 2-8-4 and 0-.5-.7 represent?
    Thanks!!

  5. The NPK ratio. The amount of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium in the fertilizer.

  8. I would not do this besides at 2.5 months they will soon be done, applying a 'different' N_P_K will screw the current pH, and delay harvest
you could get away without applying any more nute, as their would be ample in the surrounding area

    good luck
