i hear not to use epsom salt from some people and hear it ok from others, its really about just having the right ph right? what are some DO NOT DO's for coco?

also are there any organic cal-mag ferts out there, like liquidified eggshells that would work well in coco? or should we be sticking strictly to commerical ferts

also 1 last thing, does any1 just use superthrive for their mircronutes, thanks gc

  2. Howdy there! I use epsom salt for my grows, both as a coco amendment and at the rate of 1tsp/gallon every time I water. Plants seem happy with it but sometimes it's just not enough magnesium, especially with the heavy feeders. For them I'll triple up on a dosage every week or two.

I haven't tried any organic calmag ferts, but I see no reason why they wouldn't work with coco. Chelated ones will work the best, coco can really go through some mag.

I use Superthrive, but not for micronutrients. It's vitamins and harmones I believe, I don't think it has any nutritional value, I could be wrong but I add a drop or two to all my water. Maxicrop is a great organic source of micronutrients, that's what I use.

    Hope this helps!
