can this type of light be used? 500 watt hallogen

    Edison Halogen 500, Type T light. With 500 Wats in it, i found this at home and I was wondering if it would work?

    im not entirely sure but i think halogens arent the best to use, i havent heard of anyone at all using a halogen lol other than a noob, asking if it was ok to use. no offence im a noob aswell. but i have read enought o see that halogens dont work

    no wrong light spectrum get some CFLs

    Hallogens' are 'heat' lamps, and have no good use in growing.:rolleyes:
