Please don't pick on me about the quality. I just want an honest opinion. Actual wattage SAYS 400w. Please LMK. Thank you in advance! Sent from my moto g pure using Grasscity Forum mobile app
2x4 = 8 sqft. advised to use ~35w per sqft therefore recommend 280w of LED lighting. should work fine. but if you haven't purchased that light, I would guide you to other lights that use Samsung LEDs LM301b or LM301h.
That would be very helpful. I'm shopping china cause I only have $100 and I have another 100w LED already. Sent from my moto g pure using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Id say you get what you pay for.... its like buying a honda, don't expect to win the indy 500. If you plan on growing for years to come...its worth spending 200-300 more on a light with real power.
I totally understand. That's a great comparison "well I just wanna drive my Honda to work and get a paycheck or two then upgrade".. really just tryna produce product in a indoor setting. If I can produce then someone will buy me that HellCat I need to win the race. Sent from my moto g pure using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I hear ya. With income comes upgrades..... so if price is your only metric - you should compare the u/mols, warranty, and other light metrics to this at only 65w - https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/lamps/products/hlg-65 They also have a 20% off coupon.
Wouldn't I need like 3 of these?? Or it would do the same thing as the other one Sent from my moto g pure using Grasscity Forum mobile app
that might be the same case for your selected light from amazon - if you're only focusing on watts; you might be missing the forest thru the trees. China trying to sell you a honda suggesting it'll win the indy 500
I picked up a pair of no name 70 w units (about $50) this past year that are working like a champ in my sprouting cabinets but would be willing to bet they'd be able to handle flowering.
Saw this commercial today and thought of this post - Yes, I rolled my eyes and said...OK, i get it, I get it...
