yo ive been wantin a plant for a while but i cant grow it indoors. the only spot i have is outdoors but it is 2 cold for a plant during this time of season. i wanted to no if it was possible 2 make a cabinet or box for the plant as if u would do inside, hook up lights and venitilation system as usual but have somthing that keeps the temperature right. like a heat lamp or somthin that wouldnt admit visible light so my plant can get the right amount of sunlight without having a bright light on it the entire time. This may be stupid but thanks alot for reading..
Gardeners often build a "cold frame" which is like a mini greenhouse for getting seedlings started early in the year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_frame There are other tricks for extending growing seasons that might apply in your situation. If you just want to build a grow-room outside there is no reason why you couldn't do that. If it were me, I'd start with a tool-shed and modify it like any other grow room.
