It's pretty cold where I am right now, it can get to even 40F at night (but inside probably no less than 50F) Can the plants survive this? They've just germinated so I don't know if they can take it?
50 degrees isnt too bad...i would think as long as you have the lights on 24/0 it will be plenty warm enough. but, every seed is different.
They'll survive just fine, so long as you can nurse them past the seedling stage. Do you have anything to use as a heat mat? But really, it's a hardy plant, in general. Not uncommon to see it growing up through light snow and frost. After seedling stage, you'll be fine. However, you'll probably see a reduction in the growth rate.
