i started my plants with a 200w cfl and 11 days ago i switched to 12/12. i just finished my flowering room with a 400w hps would it be bad to move my plants under the HPS even tho flowering has already started?
As long as the hours don't change, the bulb swap won't hurt your plant. They may even enjoy it more. The plants respond to photoperiods mostly, the spectrum is an additive effect. I'd assume that equatorial plants don't respond as much to the red spectrum as higher latitude ones.
