I'm totally clueless on how to go about picking the right air pump and stone/diffuser (I actually heard that micropore diffusers are better?) to help bubble my nute solutions. I just need to be pointed in the right direction on which type of pump to get and a quality air stone or diffuser needed to bubble only 1 gallon of nute solution 24 hrs prior to feeding. Any cheap, reliable and quiet ones I should look out for? Would it just be better to go get one from say a pet store? help is appreciated.
Very good reads but i'm not trying to make my own tea brewer...Just need a simple one to oxygenate my nute solution and raise my ph a little for 1 gallons worth of solution...
I was looking at these: http://www.amazon.com/JW-Pet-Company...1373792&sr=8-3 w/ http://www.amazon.com/Lees-Wooden-Di...1373851&sr=1-1 any insight?
Grim, Those links didn't work for me. If you just need a small pump, look into the 2 outlet model at Walmart for 11-12 bucks. chunk
Oh well heres a re-up of those links...got some decent reviews [ame]http://www.amazon.com/JW-Pet-Company-Fusion-Aquarium/dp/B0018CFMUW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1321387238&sr=8-3[/ame] Amazon.com: Lee`s Wooden Air Stone / Diffuser 2 Inch - 2 pack: Pet Supplies Chunk as crazy as it sounds...I don't have a walmart around my location...yay!...i guess...
what about a pet store? sounds like you just need a small air pump. i use a 90 litre per hour diaphragm pump and 2 air stones in the bottom of my 50 gallon water reserve drum.this is only used for watering, a 45 lph pump airates my tea container, which is 12 gallons.
