My girls seem to be coming up pretty well in the 4th week of veg. They’re just starting to show these spots throughout the leaves and I’m wondering how I can fix theM. Thanks!
I could be wrong, and I hope I am, but it looks to me like you may be having a spider mite, broad mites or russet mite infestation going on. Do you have a jewelers loupe to take a closer look at both sides of the leaves to be certain?
I think mites too. The mites live under the leaves. Spider mites can just be seen with the naked eye, other mites are too small. The plants are still small, treatment should be easy enough. Look at neem if you want to kill them organically. Just a toutch of nute burn there, not that its a problem when its only slight like that. It is an indication that your nutes might be a bit much for the plant at the moment.
@Jchaderson1028 You need to get those plants out of the grow room and treat them asap. Then treat the grow room as well before you put them back in. Spider mites thrive in heat and in rooms with poor air circulation. If that's what you were lacking, then it's a good idea to add a fan or two to increase the air circulation in there after treating them. Somewhat windy conditions tend to make it harder for them to reproduce. Good luck. @Digga1 Yea man, I was really hoping to be wrong. Not a waste though, just a pain in the ass to clear up lol.
Damn that sucks. I didn’t see any, but after doing a little more research I don’t know what else it would be. I do appreciate the feedback tho it’s my first time and I’ll take all of your advice. For the time being I mixed 1 part alcohol with 9 parts and misted the bottom of the leaves and got a little more air flow underneath after I wiped down the room thoroughly. I saw someone dipping the whole plant in the been solution and they should be small enough I’ll probably grab some this week just to be safe
