Can someone help me diagnose my 4 week old seedling

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by HopefulGrower420, Jun 12, 2018.

  1. My seedling is four weeks old then she seemed to wilt but she doesn't respond to water.. the first was how she was before.

  2. I'd repot that in soil with a lot more perlite in it. It looks like it's in mud. You want lighter soil. Also bury that stem more. It's really small for 4 weeks.

  3. Yeah this soil I'm using now is lighter than what I was using before, was the stuff on the top better?

  4. I know she looked ten times healthier but she is small for four weeks..

  5. So wait, you've already re- potted it? From what to what? I am wondering if pH is off or something. What kind of lights?

Edited: the top pic looks much better yes... The second pic is so blurry it's hard to tell what's up. Can you post a better picture?

  6. I'm using two 100w replacement bulbs soft white, I don't have a pH meter because no buget.. that was the only soil I had like that but she wasn't growing right it seems anyway.. I did all the research beforehand but I think next time illI prepare better if she doesn't survive.

  7. Dude you have two threads going

  8. Really?? My internet is the reason for that, it wouldn't post.

  9. What soil is it? I don't grow in soil myself anymore but did in the past. If you can get your hands on non-fertilized perlite you'll want to mix it like 60:40 soil to perlite, maybe 50:50. If you're running miracle gro soil, it's not impossible to grow in but you'll want to do some research.

Those lights aren't going to work man.

  10. can you get your hands on another seed. that's never gonna turn out now it will be stunted its entire life your better off starting over unless you don't have access to any.. its gonna take you almost another 3 to 4 weeks to correct that and then to start progressing

  11. no need to soak that soil like that. go get some super thrive... couple drops to a gal.. light watering more often rather than heavy soaks

  12. Yeah I tend to agree with that. Easier to start over.

  13. Yeah I'm going to have too thanks for the help, why won't the LEDs work?? That's 3000 lumens. Though that is low.

  14. Later iI'l get some more blueberry kush seeds later along with some spectrum veg and flower lights and some foxfarm ocean soil or Coco coir.

  15. The soil was "professional potting soil" and it had spahgum moss, perlite and finely shredded bark.

  16. I heard hydroponics is good too but it's prone to root rot.. any suggestions on single bulb spectrum lights and nutrients that would be good if I were to use Coco coir, or anything better?

  17. Unfortunately like I said I'm without buget right now so I can't get new seed yet, that one was bag seed blueberry kush.

  18. In that case mircle grow plant food is not the way to go? I didn't think so..

  19. I'm not trying to sound rude but study up more before you pop anymore seeds, esp if you are paying for those seeds.

On a budget you might look for a hid fixture on the secondary market. If you post specifics on your growing space, your budget and your intentions/expectations you could probably get some better advice.

LED absolutely works, but you'll need more than two replacement screw in bulbs. You'll need to look at not just lumens but temperature, PPFD, par...

  20. This is my makeshift grow room.
I have done the research that's why I found LED was the best but I'll figure it out.
