I am relatively new to smoking I have an acrylic cause I don't want it to break. I only sesh outside but I need to get my bong and bring it in the car with me while my parents drive me to my freinds house. What are someways I can cover the smell of my bong so my parents won't smell it in the car
Hmm well cleaning it would be the best bet. Not sure how bad it actually smells but when I used to live with my parents and go traveling, I just got a bunch of ziplocks, packed it in a few of those and hid it at the bottom of a suitcase wrapped in a hoody. I would suggest thinking to get a small pipe easier to transport for traveling or even getting some papers and bagging the bong all together.
I don't have any zip locks big enough I think, but I am going to wrap it in a tube sock then a few grocery plastic bags and then a towel do you think that would work?
Clean it well with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) as best you can. Don't soak more then an hour at a time. It helps to run hot water from the faucet through the bong for a good 10 minutes first. Once it's as clean as you can get it, put it in a plastic garbage bag and tie a knot in it. Then cut off the excess and put it in your back pack. And you can get zip lock bags cheap from the dollar store that would work well enough.
No for the tube sock. WTF is a sock going to do? And then I bet your mom does your laundry and when she does it she'll find your sock and BUSTED. Cleaning is the best bet. You should always keep your bong clean anyway, maybe this will give you the proper motivation
And you don't have access to a grocery store or anywhere you can buy something like that? I'm a bit confused...can you drive a car or ride a bike, the big ziplocks cost $10 maybe. They really do keep the smell fairly locked in especially multiple bags with some dryer sheets. Avoid the socks. Honestly if your traveling with your parents a bong is just kind of stupid anyway if your trying to keep it from them...how do you plan on ripping a bong wherever your going without anyone noticing an acrylic bong in your hands..haha. Like I said go buy some Raw rolling papers or get a cheap $5 glass spoon that's brand new and clean. If you can't obtain ziplocks/rolling papers/new pipe then I'd argue to say your likely not even old enough to be posting on here.
