hey fellow stoners. I’m hoping someone can give me a realistic guess as to how much I can yield given the following info. 5x5x7 grow tent, constant 73*F, ideal humidity (humidifiers and dehumidifiers) coco coir in 5 gal pots, 480w quantum HLG 550 LM301H specific for a 5x5 tent, intake, exhaust and good circulation fans. Low stress training (clocking the plant and tying down method), lolipopping right before veg. FloraBloom nutrients FloraGrow nutrients FloraMicro nutrients 4 weeks of veg, 4 weeks of flower 2 plants of each Strains: Mother of berries, Papaya, Panama Red, Grandaddy purple. (8 plants total) I know there’s still more info I could provide but without typing a daily routine regiment I’m hoping someone can chime in with just an accurate ballpark figure. Also would mourning a few cheap blurples on the sides for sideways lighting pose any real benefit? Thank you guys! I love this forum!
Why are u worried about yield? Don't put too much pressure on yourself, especially if it's a maiden voyage Sent from my SM-G935T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I KNOW it's like the number one curiosity of new growers.....but there really is no way to tell you your yield.....just grow em to the best of your ability, and then enjoy
Got any pictures of how far along they are now? You won't have a rough idea until they are ready to flower. Even then it's only a ball park figure until they are almost done.
Ok, humor this question then. Is 1/2lb per plant yield impossible? Unrealistic? Potential? I’m not in it to try and make crazy numbers but I really just want to know?
If you you have enough room, knowledge, light an good old hard work then yes it is but that's alot of space for each plant
An yea 8 week is not even close for 1/2lb you will need to use a scrogg net an train them into monsters over atleast 2 month just in veg
You can figure the weight of a bud, and multiply that by the number of buds. A small mainlined auto will have 8 tops and if each top is only 1/4oz, then that is a 2 oz plant. 4 of them sqeezed together is the same as one big plant. And there is your 1/2 lb. A 1/4 oz top would be very small and you would need failure to go smaller. The smaller plants use space/light more efficiently. Since many growers have many different growing strategies, the "how many ounces a plant" got replaced with "how many ounces per square foot" and square foot is a defined knowable based on the light. So, to reiterate, 1/2 lb in a 2x2 is realistic, but a 1/2 lb plant is mostly for bragging and involves a lot of wasted space/light.
4 weeks of veg and at least 8 weeks of flower for damn near any Cannabis plant I've ever heard of. Where did you find seeds that flower in only four weeks? I'd like to get some.
