Can smoking indoors a lot damage your home?

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by New Jersey, Aug 7, 2013.

  1. I personally smoke inside however I just moved in recently and havent been smoking inside this house very long. I was just wondering if smoking inside could cause any damage to the walls, paint, and furniture because I like to keep a nice clean house.

na you should be fine unless your making like campfires with your cannabis

just don't drop a chary on the carpet or anything

  3. I believe it does.

  4. yep. when doing home renovations amongst smokers this is a very common sight.

now these are nicotine stained walls, so I can't say for sure if thc (let alone cannabis) will stain your wall similar. obviously cannabis contains very little to no tar [dependent on your method of smoking] so to be safe, just open up a window and have good ventilation.

  5. Take a napkin, put it up to your mouth and exhale smoke through it.

Then take a look at the napkin, that's similar to what can stick to your walls like the above poster said

  6. Not to mention ash going everywhere and possible carpet burns, but those are mainly user fault. Smoking will discolor walls in a matter of months, maybe even quicker.

  7. I used to smoke cigs inside my old place and that shit coats everything! Almost impossible to get the smell out too.

Never really thought about marijuana smoke, but I'm sure there's gotta be something in the smoke adhereing to the wall...

  8. No only cigarette smoke causes damage
Unless you got 24 people in your room toking 1 gram blunts
But if your smoking by yourself in your room and you open a window
    Window optional
But theirs no damage from a little can ibis smoke

  9. I've smoked inside my room for a while now, and there is no visible staining. Cigarette smoke will leave your walls brown because of the excessive tar. I've yet to see walls getting brown and nasty from weed smoke.

  10. Do you still go to PSU?

  11. Only if the cops break in your door because of the smell.

  12. yes

  13. University park?
