Can shrooms go bad?

if youre asking the question than yes they are

 

I know you grow shrooms, do shrooms stay fresh as long as you keep them tightly sealed in a bag?

Dried ones CAN grow mold on it when confined to closed spaces, but you will see it and you'll know if they're bad or not. It'll look like a black covering starting to devour the shroom.

mold needs water to grow
mold=rotting

leave them in a dessicant chamber if you are trying to keep them for years
if you just wanna save them for a few months, they should be fine in a bag, maybe a paper one, and put in a cool dark place

and how is having it in a confined space more likely for it to grow mold
mold needs air too, most likely oxygen just like the shrooms, but they may breathe CO2, which also comes from air
