Can pollinated plants make a comeback?

  1. Hey guys last time I went to my spot I noticed a male just barely flowering (if even) so I disposed of it. Thought I caught it on time but when I went back today I noticed some pre flowers on the females had brown hairs and the felt a seed inside a calix:(.

Its still early to tell the damage done as the females are still in veg and just about to go into flowering...but am I screwed? I dont mind getting a few seeds from the pollinated pre flowers but I hope they dont seed any more once she goes into full flower...

So the question is...can plants that have been pollinated just a little bit right before flowering still produce good buds or are they basically going to go hermie?

  2. Why would a pollinated plant turn hermaphrodite? I have never seen it happen (and iv seen plenty pollinated plants), and see no reason as to why a plant that is already pollinated would waste energy trying to pollinate itself again.
