GC huge favor I put inside my tent a cilantro plant, she was about to die cuz of the cold outside and after 4 days in my tent my females are producing seeds is could be possible, cuz i dont find a logical explanation, help !
I don't know. Doubt it. Can you knock up a chimpanzee? Have you had any major environmental changes at all during flowering? Have you ever had males in the tent before? Are your seeds from a reliable source? Has any of your growing equipment ever been around male plants?
most likely no, there tofar apart in relation. in biology the farther apart species separate the harder it become for them to breed, example. horses and zebras once shared a common ancestor, now there are distant cousins, but still close enough to breed, but there offspring becomes sterile. if u could find a plant close to the family of marijuana u could probably breed them. but i have no idea what plants are related to mj.
actually all creatures from fish to pigs, pot plants to people we all share a common ancestor. All species share a common ancestor with all other species.
I agree with you, but it still doesn't mean that all species are equally related. A horse and a zebra share much more in common than a human and a banana for instance. I would say that cannabis could not possibly get pollinated by cilantro.
No, it positively absolutely wasn't pollinated by cilantro. More likely (well, since the other isn't remotely possible so anything is more likely) one of your plants went a bit hermie and threw a banana out there and tada, you have seeds.
Yeah I agree with you to all species are related by a common ancestor. The only thing that separates each species from another is time. It is not possible to breed MJ with Cilantro the genetic code is not close enough. I think the OP just has a hermie like I said in my original post.
Ok guys thanks for the help, this is what happens I had out side a small plant of (Culantro) {{{ Mistake from part not cilantro}}} like a week ago the cold temp in FL almost kill my plant so I decide to put her inside the tent she was barely green so her pollen or seeds are good to plant I know cuz I plant culantro always to cook, once the plant is dried you can germinate the seeds or whatever you do, now that you've mention the hermie factor I wish I can tell but I guarantee you I never saw a male pollen sack or a flower of a male thats why I'm getting frustrated cuz they just started producing seeds when they are like a one week away from harvest right now they are on the flush stage so far I noticed the seed are forming are not ready yet but they look like they are unfinished like they just sprout and stop. Anyway probably will smoke best of what I can get outthere but nevertheless is a bummer if find any link with more info let me know and THANKS
