Can male plants produce female seeds?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Cannabliss88, Aug 17, 2011.

  1. Just discovered that my 1 outdoor plant is a male:(

    I was wondering how long the seeds would take to mature and if I let them mature and grew them next year would I get all male plants or would it be 50/50 odds or would it be mostly males:confused:

    Thanks in advance!

  2. im not sure but i dont think , males produce seeds , i think they make pollen which can produce seeds in female plants

  3. I did some googling and you appear to be right but can anyone verify this. Also I read that some people smoke the unopened pollen sacks.

    What should I do?:confused::confused::confused::confused:

  4. cut it down and compost/burn/dispose of it. males are pretty useless, and can be a danger to other grows in your area (pollen can travel pretty damn far). ive heard of people making weak hash and getting a gram at best. smoking the pollen, not that i know of. males do not produce seeds, just pollen...
