Can I use an all USB grow box?

    I was thinking is it possible to have a grow box with no wiring...just USB? Like if I plug in a 5 port usb hub into the wall and than use fans and LED lights that are USB. Would that work?

    I'm not 100% sure if it would or not.
    Only one way to find out though... ;)

    Because there are no lights that will run via USB if I am correct all USB is 12v and lower, most lights need a 120v or 240v socket if you wanna go led your gunna be spending a minimum of 250$ for a decent light I would check out a t5 setup if your on a budget

    USB is 5 volts... and very few amps, that'll vary from pc to pc and USB hub to USB hub. Out of a powered USB hub, you might get an amp or two... but that's only 5-10 watts of power. That'd be enough power if you're growing weed in a popcan, but nothing larger...
