I was wondering whether I can switch a plant to 12/12 to check it's sex, then revert back to 18/6? I understand there is an easier way by taking a clone from the vegging plant and sexing it. But I was wondering if I can do the former.
Yes you can, or you can just wait until your plant is mature enough to show its sex in veg(recommend)
why not just veg it until shows sex? would just stress it out flipping it back and forth, increasing chances of a herm
It's possible, but I wouldn't recommend it... you could stress the plants to the point of making hermies.
Thanks for the answers guys! Yeah this has been an issue for me, my last two plants that went into my stealth flowering cab turned out to be males. Only room for one plant, guess third times a charm eh?
