the plants are 2 weeks old and have 3 ''sections'' (nodes?) to them. also they are still in party cups. would it be good to start nutes now? any help is appreciated...thanks.
They sound old enough to start. But i would keep the mix very diluted while they are young and slowly strengthen the mix as watering goes on.
yea try some Peter's Proff. with Sec. Nutes or another High N - Mid P - Mid K mixture, mix at either 1/4 or 1/2 a teaspoon, monitor reaction, also i suggestion adding a tad of epsom salts since its an important secondary
Tell me, are the little round, origional cotyledon leaves starting to yellow yet? If not leave it, if so fert it at 1/4 strength.
damn, thanks for all the help guys. if i water every 2 days does that mean i should water with nutes every 4 days? or is every water ok? also, how often should i increase the potency of the nutrient/water mix?
Start in a week or so with the ferts. Water every time or every other time with the liquid ferts, water once a week to once every other week with the water soluble nutes.
