can i smoke after a concussion?

    I just got a concussion in my football game on friday and lost consciousness on the field for like 10 seconds but im feeling almost 100% better now and its 3 days since including today. Is it okay for me to smoke again now?

    yes! do it! cannabis actually helps traumatic brain injuries to heal faster with less damage.

    thanks man, hopefully this will get me on the field faster, i have a doctors appointment again tomorrow to check me out. time to pack that bowl now

    I had a similar concussion in high school, wasnt smoking but I can relate

    I got that information from an app on my ipod touch that is connected with NORML. when I find it I will post what it says. I have also heard of this somewhere else too, but I can't recall where.

    :confused: The fact that you approach a bunch of non-medically licensed cannabis enthuastic people with a question of whether or not you should smoke is frankly idiotic. Go see a licensed medical proffesional instead of asking a bunch of people on the internet who love smoking weed whether you should smoke. Only a doctor cant tell you this.

    If the OP did that they would obviously be told cannabis is bad. Not all doctors feel that way, but a lot do and its a sad truth.

    Maybe for you. But they would at least tell you if it was safe. Just like if I ask if I can get drunk after a a concusion the will say you shouldn't but its ok/not ok. :wave:
