Can I save her?

  1. Something ate one of my cotyledons overnight (admittedly I'm happy it wasn't my other girl), and nibbled at about 1/2 of one true leaf. She's less than a week old. My best bet was a squirrel or a bird...and thankfully they didn't seem to enjoy it.

I was pretty excited to harvest this around June (auto). Should I cut my losses and cull her or does she have hope? I can still see where her second set of true leaves will come in and they look fine.

First grow so I'm pretty bummed.

I noticed she's still taking water and moving with the sun.

Going to see if I can buy small bits of chicken wire today to put over pots.

These are totally organic grows. I know ground cayenne pepper is a great deterrent in other plants and flowers for pesky critters. Would it be safe to sprinkle around my mj soil?
