Lady at the hydro store wants me to come buy a new one and says they need replaced every 6 months. Sounds like some bullshit. Cant u just drill a spot to get the charcoal and replace it? Hell I got a dremel and I can cut a good chunk out of it. I just dont know how well the carbon is packed in there if I wont be able to get the old stuff out. Please let me know what u can do. Any hydro store should sell or be able to get activated carbon. If not you can order it from greners. Six months is not long for a filter imo. I've been running a phresh over 18 months with no smell at all.
