Going to have 6 plants in a 3'x4.5' closet. If I could really pull ~3 oz ea off an auto, that means a pound of weed in 2-3 months. Why the hell would people be trying to get 5 or 6 oz off a normal feminized seed that takes 5-6 months then? Something doesn't make sense to me... What am I missing?
Well it doesnt take 5-6 months to pull that off a normal photoperiod plant. Can you pull 2-3oz off Autos..sure and easily. Check out autoflower.net. Some good grow journals on there. When Autos first came out they were briefly popular but all were 1st Gen autos most yielded under a ounce. They have steadily improved with each generation that comes out. This fall Paradise Seeds and Dutch Passion have released high yielding autos. Partically Dutch Passions Think Different Super Auto is getting like 200-350g dry. Also a big reason is variety. Theres still not the immense variety that exists with photoperiod plants. Here are 2 of my autos I grew earlier in the year. Was about 3 31/2 oz off both. Grew to about 30 inches tall 24 25 inches wide.
I pulled 14oz dry from 7 autos, no doubt a lb every 2 to 3 months is achievable. My runt only yielded 22g but my largest yielded 76g. Most were right at 2oz dry.
Theres a video by seemorebudz.He pulled I think 1/2 lb off one auto full grow in vids.With LED's to boot I believe.
Finishing my first Auto-fem grow. While they are easy to grow, I like the control over veg/flower. Not saying I won't grow one again. I wonder what happens if you pollinated one from a photo? Would the seeds be half & half?
It doesn't? It takes a week or so to get the seed rolling, 2-4 months of veg to get a 3-5 oz plant, 2-3 months of flower depending on strain. Very easily 5-6 months.

yeah, I'm gonna have to say that's an anomaly. I have 9 seeds a month in, and there's no way they'd yield me even an oz yet
well, it would be an anomaly, except that he does it consistently...and he's not the only one just gotta keep your mind open to possible different ways to get bigger yields
That link only shows flower, and his grow journal link in the sig doesn't work... what are these "possible different ways"?? Like I said, that's a RIDICULOUS size for 1 month veg, I'd love to know... What other people are that big on a 1 month veg? I haven't noticed them around...
he even says in that thread that his main journals are at RIU read through them if you're interested in possibly getting better yields....they're usually hundreds of pages long and have pictures showing everything he does step by step and by "different ways" i mean......different ways......such as the way he's growing it's so different, *you* think it's an anomaly or a lie, lol

ahhhhhh, but we're talking about the difference between AUTOs and normal plants, right? it *does* only take 3 months for normal plants, you *can* harvest lots in 3 months AND you can do clones (you can't do that with autos) so clones do apply to this discussion, IMO
sure... I was just comparing planting from seed If you can get clones or are able to keep a mother in veg and clone her, that's another story. You've got a month's head start on any seed.
And a watering room, and a trimming room, and a drying room, and a storage room... lol Unfortunately, in cities where 1 bed apts go for $1,000/mo and up, we're a bit hard pressed to have several rooms dedicated to a personal hobby
he's doing some hardcore shit... running hydro, killing the root hairs on the 3rd week so they grow back even stronger, etc definitely not for someone without experience
Takes 24-48 hours to germinate. I plant directly into soil. Depending takes about 3-4 days to pop. After that I never veg longer then a month then 8 weeks or 2 months flowering. So 3 months and some days. Def not anywhere near 5 months. Ive never taken in my entire life 5 months to grow a plant. If it did I most likely would not.
