Can I legally smoke outside when nobody is around?

    I have had my mmj authorization for about 2 months now and I have been smoking 1-2 times everyday since I got it. Every night, I go to a park that is pretty far away from houses and I smoke kush out of my glass bong on a jungle gym. :bongin: The law in my state (Washington) says that we can't smoke in view of the public. Well I have been waiting until it is dark (so nobody can see me) :cool: and I have been making sure that nobody is around when I smoke. I really need to use cannabis because it aids some serious medical problems that I have. So am I breaking the medical marijuana law in my state? Do you think that it is okay to continue my routine? Thanks :D

    dont u have a backyard or a place a bit more private to smoke

    I have an apartment, but my roommate doesn't like the smell of cannabis and the landlord doesn't want anyone smoking in the apartment. I am in some strange circumstances. If I would have known about the medical use of cannabis five months ago, I would have moved into a different apartment instead :(

    I know in california you can smoke anywhere thats not a no smoking zone or a school zone or a moving vehicle, anywhere else is fine. Check out norml for washingtons laws

    well most apartments have a balcony, could you just step outside for a minute?

    The park where I currently smoke at has no signs that indicate it is a drug free zone. It isn't close to a school or anything. It is just a huge field that has a random jungle gym in the middle of it ;)

    why are u going to a public place like a park with a bong? what is wrong with your place? dont lose your card for violating the rules. u already are legal, keep it that way

    Yeah dude. Also when theres a full moon, Ill always head outside to have a smoke!
