Can I Just Use Black Soil To Grow My Plants?

    The black soil straight from the bag?
     
    I planted my seeds in the soil just like the image below.

    Would have been more beneficial for you to ask about the soil before you planted your seeds, but the main thing that soil needs is perlite.

    perlite or rice hulls...add either to your soil...60/40

    I have no perlite or rice hulls. So, I'm going to mix old soil that contains perlite with manure. Is it good?

    dude you really wont need perlite if you dont over water dude....

    im also going to suggest you get you some fucking bottled nutrients.. since they are already planted you wont have time to cook you an organic compost...

    that is not black dirt. that is potting soil and its poor. vermiculite and perlite. hopefully u planted in small cup. just wait till the seedlings have 3 or4 sets of leaves transplant into you newly mixed soil.

    It was inside a cup. I just took out the germinated seeds (the root of the seed stayed 5mm ever since I first germinated them) and I added old actual soil. My cup finally smells like wet earth! I water it daily by spraying with water. I hope they grow in a week at least.
