Stopping nutes is not called flushing. Running a shitload of water through your grow medium is flushing. True that you want to stop nutes for the last week or 2 of flowering so that the plant will use up its stored nutes and improve the taste, so you flush 1-2 weeks before harvest to remove any built-up nutes in the soil and then don't feed anymore thereafter.
