I want to grow another plant. This time, Im working indoors, in a small space where venting will definatly be an issue. I want to know if i can grow a sucessfull crop under cool white florecent tubes, and nothing else. I've looked at the site where i normally go for this info, but couldnt find it. Yes you can, but as usual with floro's, make sure to keep your plants as close as possible. As a side note a warm white really don't throw much more heat. I have actual "grow spectrum" floros that seem to toss off the same heat as my cool whites. Only a 25 cents each more too.
U could go the whole way with the cool whites alright but it would be better if u can add in some warm whites for flowering! Some cfl's around the sides or something would get em in close and give denser tighter buds Good luck! CWL
Exactly what celticweedlover said. You should see his fluorescent grow, it's mind boggling. Cool white for veg, warm white for flowering. Pretty simple. A mix of both during both cycles is never a wrong choice though.
Yep wot Swaenk + splifster said ^ Its a small flourescent tube that can be screwed/plugged into any normal light socket! Theyre also called energy saving bulbs! Do a search with Cfl and you'll see wot i mean Good luck! CWL
