Can I get a mmj card?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Urlacher1154, Apr 16, 2010.

  1. I live in california and have been diagnosed with chronic insomnia and major anxiety. I cant sleep at night and I have panic attacks and "im scared of the world" as people say. I am taking celexa, but that does not help. The only thing that lets me lead a normal life is marijuana. Can I get a mmj card?

  2. Yes, get a copy of your records from your regular Doc. Make an appt. with a MedMJ doc (They're every where in Cali) VOILA!:smoke:

Where are you located? Dr. Anthony Catipay in West LA will hook you up with a new recommendation for $65, renewals for $45.

    Visit his site at: http://unimedcal.com/

  8. In California, with the exception of hormones and antibiotics, if you get a prescription for it, you very likely can get legal!

Reliable cannabis specialists (who WILL stand up for you in court, if it comes to that) can be found at - CA NORML Medical Marijuana Information

Cheaper doctors are easier to get a rec from, but may have problems with their license (and your rec is no longer good! :( ) and may not be there for you in court. You get to evaluate the risks vs $ outlay.

I went with the more expensive, but reliable doctor. Even if he charges a top price of $200 for the rec, that still works out to less than $17 a month for "anti-bust insurance". Not a bad price to pay for greatly reduced risk and the right to grow your own! :D

With a little luck (and some work from you guys), cannabis possession may be legalized in California this fall, so it may be your one and only chance to get a pre-legalization rec to show your grandkids in 2035! :p Let them know what it was like to live in the "Dark Ages"!

And are you ALL registered to VOTE? Lots of states have MMJ votes coming up! Every state counts- even if the MMJ law is totally restrictive and a PITA to deal with! Just getting it on the books is the important thing! We can loosen them up later!

If every state passes their MMJ law- we will have over 50% of the states! (I know that ain't going to happen, but it IS possible!) We could DEMAND rescheduling of cannabis. We could DEMAND LEGALIZATION! :hello:
