Hey guys, So my dumb ass accidentally left my vape pen in my pocket and it got in the laundry. Now the light on it is on entirely and even though my cartridge was empty, it still worked. Now it doesn't even hit but i'm not sure if the vape is damaged or if I need a new cartridge. Has anyone been in this type of situation before and if so, did you get it to work? Or am I all out of luck and need to get a new vape pen?
Best thing for wet electronics imo is to put in an airtight container or ziploc completely covered in rice. It pulls out the moisture. Good luck Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
Many batteries have a tiny Integrated chip that hates water- Most will short out internally if they get wet and will never work properly thereafter. I would never trust a vape pen that had gotten wet- many people have seen the scary videos of portable vapes exploding---no thanks.
