Bonide makes some good insect control products. I use one in the first 3 inches of soil and it controls very well. The transplant also sucks this up and keeps bugs away in the plant and is eliminated by time vegging ends if I recall. Does not affect taste unless it accidentally makes it taste sweet.

  4. I don't see any reason why you can't. Prefer to use neem cake myself, set and forget.

  5. Why are you "feeding" your plant neem oil?

Do you have a problem with some kind of soil pest?
