Can I drink unopened beer that has been sitting

  1. I have a case thats been sitting in my garage for months now with temperatures being really hot sometimes to really cold. They're in cans and was wondering if they would taste bad even if I refrigerated them. Drinkable or no?

  2. I'd say yea, but it won't hurt you to take a sip and find out.

  3. It won't hurt you, it just might taste like shit.

Only way to find out is to drink one.

  4. yeah it should be alright, would wait for more answers though. i'm not entirely sure. i had a 40oz once that had been sitting for over a month, and was fine. didn't go through many extreme temperature changes though

  5. not supposed to talk about other drugs...
    especially the bad ones.

  6. should be o.k i dont see why not,,,,,

beer is lucky if it lasts thru the night at my house.....

and you've stored some for months,,,lol:cool:

  7. Will it taste foul? yes

    Is it drinkable? hell yes

  8. Well it's bud light and that doesnt have much of a taste to begin with so if it's bad then hopefully the bad taste wont be strong lol

  9. Hell, you could always just get to drunk to care, then top it off with the skunked beer!

  10. You never know, maybe it'll taste better and you will have discovered a new way to drink Bud Light.

  11. LOL that made me laugh. We will see, they're in the process of cooling

  12. that'd be tight if beer got better with time, like wine

  13. So you are asking if crap beer will still be crap beer after exposing it to heat but not opening it for months. I'm inclined to think a canned product isn't going to be affected by storage (the original purpose for cans and jars, right?), chill it out and it should be just the same as you'd expect. Will it be crap beer? Yes, yes it will. It's Bud light.

  14. I was on a day long hunt one time and had emptied my canteen very early in the day, due to very hot conditions. While hiking back to to my truck I found a can of Coors Light near an old campsite. It had laid exposed to the weather for so long that you could barely tell what brand it was. I debated a bit, but thirst got the better of me and I drank it. As thirsty as I was it tasted like nectar from the gods, and I didn't get sick, or DIE, so you should be all good. Although it May taste like crap if you're NOT dying of thirst:laughing:

Not bad to be honest. Had a really unpleasant aftertaste though...Probably having to do with the constant extreme temp. changes and the fact that they were in cans, which already throws off the taste of the brew.

    Wasted regardless.

  19. Cans are the new bottles in snobby beer circles. :)
