Can I breed my auto flower Northern lights with a regular Northern lights plant? Idk if the auto's can breed with a regular plant
I wander if the offspring will flower on there on still, maybe just take longer and grow bigger? Sounds pretty cool
You'll most likely get some phenos that are autoflowering and other's that won't. The trick with breeding auto strains is stabilizing it so you can consistently get the autoflowering trait from the seeds. I don't know nearly enough about breeding to help ya there, though.
^^this^^ brush up on your Mendelian genetics...... adding new work into autos is time consuming an takes lots of plants. better to just take and cross two autos if your looking to start breeding Rudes

It's just they are good plants that I was impressed with and I don't wanna pay for more seeds when I'm already satisfied
Yep, like the semi-auto plants we had around here for a while. They really didn't know whether to auto-flower or respond to light cues. If you planted them a little early or a little late outdoors, you would be dissapointed. True mark of a breeder who "almost" got it right.
