Just wondering if there were any 'hardcore' strains that can deal with being in the wind/rain and temperatures from -1 to 10 Celsius, (outside in the UK in February). Wouldn't be surprised if there aren't, but any suggestions would be great!
There probably is no seed strains that can take -1 tempetures (or worse at night) because those tempetures freeze the ground and roots which ruin the plant, there are frost resistance strains but that is to a certain point. Would not advice to use those because they can still die.
Short answer no, not enougth light hours to start with. Generally start under glass in march plant out after last frost.
