Can cigarette smell mask weed?

No, Tobacco will NOT mask the smell of Cannabis.
One smells like a dirty ashtray. The other smells like a dead skunk.

As a former smoker of both I can detect either separately or the combined stink of a dual user from several feet away. It's on your clothing, your skin and in your lungs and I can smell it on you with every exhale.

in the UK most weed and hash smokers mix with tobacco ,,and you can smell the weed/hash just the same ,,it doesnt cover up the smell ,,mac,

 

Never understood the mixing of tobacco and bud. Use less bud but the point it to get high. Not get cancer from the tobacco.

I used to chainsmoke in college on my way to class hoping itd just make me smell like cigarettes, the smell was still there though... I still remember a couple looks from the first class teacher that just screamed "You smell like a walking spliff".

Umm how old are you if you are still living with your parents? I will not help someone under 21 to smoke weed or hide it from their parents. Especially since it's illegal (like drinking) and you have to be 21 or older to join the site. But if you are over 21 here's a thought, try and move out of their home.

 

Buy a smoke buddy, smoke outside or not at your parents home. Edibles, vapes...etc.

Masking smells is always worse than reducing it in the first place. Vaping smells a lot less than smoking. Also activated carbon filters literally absorb smell. You can pretty much smoke and blow through an activated carbon filter and have it smell as much as a vape more or less or if you combine both the smell is almost non existent. But like other people said, two very different smells with tobacco and weed so you'll likely just smell like both. You want to eliminate the smell, not add another to the mix.

 

We have went on a cruise and wanted to have a doobie here and there while on the ship. I water cured an ample supply of flower, then dehydrated it. It reduces the flower down to maybe a quarter of its original volume, so it is very potent. But with enough water curing, you have reduced the smell (and terpenoids) down to almost nothing. A drug dog probably wouldn't miss it, but it fools humans after adding just a bit of tobacco for some type of smell. I rolled with Raw tips and papers (cigarette size - 1.25), then wrapped an Urban Wrap around it for appearance (white papers with orange, cigarette-filter looking ends). Nothing like sitting in the casino toking a doobie and no one is the wiser.
