  1. Happy Holidays,

I'm about 2 or so weeks into flower and my leaves in my plants are starting to turn light yellow with burned ends and some plants they are making a claw downwards and in one plants the bottom leaves are even turning yellow and falling off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

  3. Need more info on your grow......What is your medium? What nutes are you using? How much and how often do you water? What is your water's PH? what is the temp in your grow room? Humidity? Lights you are using? ALLL these things go into a diagnosis...........imo

  5. ALso ph is about 5.9 to 6.5

  6. The symptoms are,

-Light coloring in leaves to the point of complete yellowing and falling off from the bottom
-Burned spots at tips not inside the leaf and yellowing as well
-Some leaves are starting to claw downwards

  7. Where about on the plant matters show a pic of the whole thing.
also a sign that light was too close at one point but again just it’s history.

from the sounds of it you lack N. The tips could have turnt when you over nutes once it depends when they turnt.

are they getting the same nutes as before flip.
first few weeks into flower they use a lot of n&mag.
Don’t really see sign of mag but will be good to see one a bigger pic.

the claw could be few things add a pic of whole tent too.
2 main reason I’d say check you oscillating fans first. If the leaves clawing are close could be wind burn. How’s your watering?

  8. Heres a pic of the whole thing. I flushed them and the runoff ec now is 500 on 3 and 700 on 2 at 6.0 ph

  9. See from the whole pic it looks typical yellowing from the bottom up. Most likely by not increasing N, so when they started stretching they ran low fast.

that’s my guess anyway with what has been provided.
If this is the case flushing will only make it worse.

I’ve never bothered learning about ppms so means nothing to me. Good luck hope they make it through.

  10. Looks to me like PH lockout, causing P deficiency, and are also overfertilized.
Could also be Nitrogen/and-or Cal/Mag deficiency, + the other stuff.

Id also raise my temps up to 78-80f. 72f-75f lights off.

PH is fluctuating way to much.

  11. Add fish emulsion to your plants. It will boost N. The yellowing happen 3rd to 4th week of flowering

  12. Its also a MYTH to reduce Nitrogen during flowering.

All Nitrogen is to the plant is Protein.

Humans eat protein, and our bodies turn it into Nitrogen. The plant skips this process, and just takes straight nitrogen.

How in the world is it logical to limit Protein, when you are trying to grow??

When the plant flowers, it takes on the biggest growth spurt it will ever take in its short life, so how is it logical to limit protein/nitrogen???

For an 8 weeks flowering strain, I also give them a MPK Boost at weeks 2.5-4, then weeks 5-6 MPK gets dropped, and they get extra Magnesium/Sulfur. The final 2 weeks the nutrients are all slightly cut back, but NEVER Eliminated.

The thing about any nutrient is balance. if you have to much nitrogen, it will indeed inhibit proper flowering, but if you don't have enough, the plants will quickly let you know.

  13. looks like a mix of primary nuit lock out being potassium phosphorous and nitrogen. from ph balances you want to try and keep it at 6.5ph. id start there and considering you flushed get ready to add more nuits. just because one nuit says grow does not mean you cant use it for bloom just either add both or get something like propogator root juice to help supplement in potassium and phosphorous. clawing will either be a result from this or it may just be root bound(container to small for that plant giving its size) would worry to much about being root bound as it wont affect the plant to much. its more likly the final yield i this area however not to much you can do except get bigger planter next time. ph should never go beyond 6.3 and above 6.7.

  14. hopefully this helps for future issues aswell.
