  1. hi y'all.

I'm just wondering if any1 is privvy into how im supposed to keep my 75% sativa plants below 2 meters?

im growing dutch dragon at the moment, 75% sativa, when i bought the seeds i thought it was the otherway round. i usually grow a 25/75 indica hybrids, but last grow i had 2 collars which hit the roof of my bud box, and they had all the physical traights of a pure indica!

i'm 12 days into flowering, and with the wilma hydro resevoir the tips of the collars are already standing 1 meter off the ground, and i have 50 days to go. as i said my bud box is 2 meters high, with another foot being taking up with the light and reflector. i've heard its a good idea to bend and train at an early age, but im not too sure how to go about it. Any help or points to references would be superb.

    cheers guys.

  2. its not too late, just tie down the plant a little every day, keep tying it down maintaining an even canopy

    just go slow

  3. LST (Low Stress Training is the way to go. Find out everything you need to know about it right here. My adult plants never get more than 6-8 inches tall before putting into flower. I like to have my plants the way I want them when put into flower and discontinue LST at that time (unless a misc. stem has to be tied to keep even lighting). Once you put them into flower they will grow about 30" or so.

    Good Luck

  4. Like they said earlier. Go ahead and bend her over and spread her out. If you think your going to get to the point where you are going to snap a branch. Slide your fingers down to the peak of the arch and start crushing the stem between your thumb and forefinger. Only crush enough to allow the branch freedom. The bend can go damn near 90 degrees if you need it to but if you crush that much you will have to support the branch throughout the rest of the grow. This bending shock the crap out of the branch and caused some heavy growth. I don't know why but it does. I always grow w/ a scrog method so I am used to bending branches. Perhaps you should check out the posting here on the scrog method for your next grow if your space is limited and your growing those leggy sativa ladies. Scrogs are excellent for taming them down so you can control them. Take care. ...gm714
