I'm not sure what they are called but some of them have 4 sockets and you plug the back into a cable that plugs into a power socket in the walll. I see alot of growers use them for CFL's. If anyone has any idea that'd be great.
Uh... I'm gonna need a little more description than that... Do you mean it is a socket that a bulb screws into that is then plugged into a polarized outlet? Or it has 4 bulbs like in an x that plugs into an outlet? Don't forget you can go walk around in a Lowes or a Home Depot and see what they have in their lighting areas...

Aaaah yes the 2nd one the Y socket is pretty good too. Plug-in socket seems real easy to just plug in and use. I can probably get something to hold the portable outlet above my plants. You're saying I can find these at Home Depot or Lowes then?
