Can anyone answer this?

  1. Grow room lights:
    2, 90watt UFO, tri-band/quad-band
    8, 23 watt CFLS

My question is, can the CFL lights take away the spectrum from the LED lights? When just the UFOs are on in my grow room it's totally pink/red, when the cfls are on it's a lot lighter in the room, not as red/pink, so does anyone know if the white CFLs take away from the LED colored lights?
:bongin: Thanks for your time, I'll +repp!

  2. I have no facts to back this but I dont think there's a problem with canceling each other out. You're just seeing a more balanced mix of light spectrum. All the colors and light from the LEDs are still there.

  3. It's not taking away the LED's light, its adding to it. It shines brightly enough to make it more difficult to see the pink light, but it's still there doin its thing. Your plant is better off with the cfls in there as long as the heat doesn't become an issue.
