Can a proto pipe be cleaned with rubbing alcohol?

    Or will it somehow damage the metal/finish? If so, what would be the best way to clean it? Thanks.

    looks like its just brass. try taking a cloth with some of the ISO and rub a part of it. and see what happens

    If its brass it will just shine it up. same with any other metal.

    rubbing alcohol is a solvant. it wont eat metal. but it has any paint on it it may take it off. bu It doesnt look like its painted or chromed. looks like brass and thats ok to rinse with ISO.

    Been cleaning my proto with alcohol since 1973..........works great:smoking::smoking::smoking:
