Can a med marijuana dr. Prescribe mj to me?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Leesakay, Apr 3, 2016.

  1. I have been a patient at a methadone clinic for 8 years. I have a lot of medical issues and have ended up on methadone. However, it makes me sick to my stomach and I can't sleep.... Ever... So I tried a little weed and it was wonderful! I could sleep, I can eat without being sick... I live in AZ so can I get a card so I can show them at the clinic that I do take it by prescription. But will this work? I haven't approached the clinic with this issue ( don't want any trouble ) and haven't spoken with a med. mj dr. Yet... Thought I would see what others here may say?? Thank you for any input anyone can offer.
    Blessed be.

  2. A medical marijuana doctor can give you a recommendation for a medical marijuana card, which they send to the Arizona Department of Health, and then you will be mailed a card. Medical marijuana doctors don't get paid unless they help you with this process.
