  1. Hey, ive been trying to get some nice quality pics of my buds(close ups)
I just snatched my moms camera and tryed, yet all came out blurry, is there some specific setting I need on, or does this camera just suck?

Cannon PowerShot A80 AiAF 4.0 Mega Pixles

The settings on a rotating circles, each described by a small picture

    thanks for the info.

  2. I think my dad had the same camera... Turn it to the setting with the little flower picture (macro) and try it that way.

  3. yup set it to macro shot and press the shutter button half way to focus on what ever you are trying to take pics of...if your too close there should be an icon on the LCD screen warning you that it cannot focus cause your too close....just fuck around with it.

  4. Doesn't Have One

Anyone come up with anything else?

  5. your camera has manual focusing option...if you got a manual read on how to set it to manual focus so you can focus it to your liking.

  6. button on that back that should have a pic of a small looking flower thing... hit it in auto mode maybe???

  7. I don't know, I looked it up and it is the same camera my dad has, and I remember I used to use that for really close up shots on things, so it's not the camera.
Are you sure you aren't too close to the subject? A camera can only focus if it's a certain distance away from the subject, try just backing up until you get it into focus. Remember the picture will usually come out pretty big on the computer so you'll see the image closer.

  8. Oh, hey, there's a button on the back that says MF and has a the little flower picture on it. That'd be your macro and manual focus button apparently. Push that button, and then fiddle with it and see if you can get it to work.

  9. thanks guys! I figured out how there was a flower key near the lcd screen. time to post some pics of my pickup!
