  1. Hey blades, I was wondering if anyone could help me pick out a new camera...I'm going to Paris soon and I would like to come back with some good pictures :) I was looking somewhere in the $300 range...Thanks ;)

  2. canon ae-1 and 50mm for like 75 bucks on ebay and the rest on film/developing. you won't regret it i promise and all those sick shots you get will be that much more satisfying shot on film through a manual camera knowing you contolled every aspect of the photo. pick up good quality film like some velvia/provia and for black and white, any ilford film

  3. pick an appropriately priced canon powershot. can't go wrong there

  4. Two pretty awesome point and shoot cameras:
Olympus SP 510 UZ. You can get one now for under 200$ and they are pretty awesome for the price. The picture quality is good too. Digital image stabilization, 10x optical zoom. Pretty wide angles as well. Manual and automatic modes. Came out in 2006.

The Sony Cyber Shot Dsc w100 also very good camera, you can get for under 300$ now too. Its also from 2006, though. Manual and automatic modes, 8mp, fast, too.

The Olympus takes AA batteries, too.
