Hi all, Just wondered for those using tap water what their ppm's are before adding anything, whether or not they use CalMag and how much. I've got soft tap water, comes out around 55 ppm so also trying to figure if I should be upping the CalMag from half dose.
Mines about 140 and I have to add a bit of Cal/mag. It varies so much that you can't really compare it to anyone elses tap water. It's rather difficult to give too much Cal/mag as long as you follow recommended dose honestly.
My water ppm is around 200-207 before anything I was andding what the calmag said to add per gallon for the week of growth.
I use 0ppm rainwater and add around 4ml/gallon of cal/mag to every single feeding. I've never had a toxicity problem or deficiency since I added the GH calimagic.
