Calling GC Chefs: need hors d'oeuvres.

  1. i am going to a potluck this coming monday night. i am one of the coaches for the swim team, so i kind of need to bring something. i won't complain though, i love to cook and never pass up an opportunity to show off a bit. i am looking for any ideas or recipes for some hors d'oeuvres. i would like it to be a little classier/more impressive than like a potato skins or wings or something, but i dont have a heck of alot of money to through around.

    Possibilities:
    My artichoke dip with homemade pita chips
    Asparagus bacon wraped in like a pilsbury biscut dough
    Mango jalepeno dip
    Chicken proschutto basil kabobs w/ a guacamole type dip

  2. Try a Grilled Swewered swordfish with fennel and cherry tomatoes ( a kabob)
    or a crab dip I have a recipe for. if you want it PM me, I several others that might interest you
