California patient moving to Washington

Hey there - I may be moving to Seattle for work.

I am a California patient who is still in the "mystery illness" phase of dealing with an autoimmune disease with joint, muscle, and nerve pain that does not respond to any OTC meds (they know I have one, they don't know what I have yet). I deal with pain and flare-ups that I use mmj to prevent and treat, in addition to using mmj for my horrible, painful periods (have fibroids, too). It probably doesn't help that I use county health here and have been told by doctors that all i can do is wait the mystery illness out for a while before getting a diagnosis - or even treatment. I'm kind of stuck with relying on alternative health and mmj for now. I was able to get a card here in California based on my chiropractor's recommendation, following injuries from an auto accident (btw, the condition went absolutely nuts after the accident).

People keep asking me why I want a med card in a legal state. Here's the problem - I manage my pain with high-CBD. It doesn't just help pain (which normal weed does), it prevents flares! When I take high-CBD every day, I stay functional, and I'd like to try RSO (which you can get through some medical dispensaries but not through recreational dispensaries in WA) and also juicing, which you can't do without access to a live plant. I've looked in the adult use dispensaries for high-CBD in WA and it's hard to find, plus the cost of adult use weed in WA is prohibitive for a non-card medical user. My experience is that it's hard enough to find in my remote area of California but at least here I can get a caregiver to grow for me (which I'm looking into) or grow my own, which I can't do in WA.

I was originally planning to move to Oregon, whose laws will allow home growing soon, maybe that was a better idea, sigh.
