I think it's safe to assume it detects edibles too. I actually like this idea. This won't detect the pot you smoked two days ago and if it replaces urine tests that's a huge deal. It won't show impairment though and as we know some of us can smoke 10 times the amount that gives another person panic attacks and still not be impaired. Perhaps they need to pair this breathalyzer with a test for impairment which would give a true picture of intoxication.
Could be as simple as counting how many times you forgot what you were gonna say within a certain time frame. Wouldn't take long to get me in cuffs.
