  1. So ive been having some troubles lately, due to aphids i have been spraying my plants down every 2 days with a insecticdal soap that says it contains 1% potassium salts and 99% other ingredients. i also treated the top layers of the soil and moved it around some. i have since got rid of the aphids but still going to treat the plants once more before i stop with the spray.

there are 2 plants, one has it far worse then the other. it seems to be starting from the bottom and going up.

plant 1 has the major defiency issue, plant 2 has maybe 5-6 leaves total that look like this:

Could it be nute burn possibly on plant 2? I have not fed it in about 4 days now though. I just want to catch whatever is happening before it ends up majorly affected like plant 1.

    PH runoff is 6.7
    nutes: AN sensi bloom 1part
    Jock Horror

  2. forgot to mention, day 24 flower. and the leaves dont die fast, seems very slow if anything they are just staying like that and not getting worse.

  3. you have a potassium def , feed em and do another runoff test to be certain

  4. What should I feed it to correct the potassium defiency with? I've only given it 1 feeding of AN sensi bloom. should i give it more of that to fix it? says 17.3% potassium on it.
    NPK 11 8 17

  5. Any Chemical/Organic nutrients that have potassium in them will fix a potassium deficiency. Again Peters All Purpose plant food 20-20-20, will cure the potassium deficiency , Miracle grow Tomato plant food, Miracle grow All purpose plant food.( Only mixing at ½ strength when using chemical nutrients, or it will cause nutrient burn!) Some other supplements of potassium are: Wood ashes, which are fast absorption, Kelp Meal, which is medium absorption, Greensand, which is slow absorption, granite dust, which is slow absorption. Sulfate of Potash, Sulfate of Potash Magnesia, Muriate of Potash, which are medium absorption. FOXFARM GROW BIG HYDROPONIC CONCENTRATE, which is fast absorption. (FFGB can bring your ph down as well) Earth Juice Meta-K, which is fast acting. (Can bring down your ph as well) Leaves will never recover, but the plant will show recovery after about 4 to 5 days when using a fast acting nutrient.

  6. Syztem,

In addition to what Ganja and Flow DC told you, the best ferts to use during flower is something that has the greatest amount of p in it. For example 9-30-12 would be ideal for flowering weed plants because they use a large amount of phosphorus in that stage. Your ferts at 11-8-17 will work but would not be ideal. During veg you would use a 20-6-16 for instance because they need a lot of Nitrogen during veg. However, a 20-20-20 general purpose fert can be used successfully all the way through and to solve your deficiency.

  7. kk thanks for the extra info, but i still have the problem progressing. and it seems to be getting worse. anyone know why? the buds have seemed to have almost no growth at all.

  8. Make sure the grow room gets completely dark at night and night time has no light interuptions. Your strain looks very sativa so it will put a lot of its weight on towards the end of flower. Are you feeding it with the full sterength nutes?

  9. im feeding it with one teaspoon per gallon of water. full strength would be 2 teaspoons i think.

  10. What is your soil pH? You say the potassium or whatever it is, is getting worse? I would think a tsp per gallon would be enough to prevent that. Try going to 1.5 tsp per gallon of water. Also check the pH because that could disturb uptake of nutrients. How are the temps in the room? Too cold temps can screw things up as well.

  11. soil ph checked @ 6.6 almost 2 days ago. the temps are around 80 with lights on. probably 70-75 lights off. I will try adding 1.5 teaspoons.
