Cages

    I have a smaller cage up right now and will need to add a second one soon ;

    Someone just recommended me to take the first cage off and just put up one big cage:

    What are your thoughts ?

    Pros and cons to either ?

    The first cage can be very useful if you tie the branches directly to it and spread them out. IMG_20190703_135546.jpg

    I have to say leave the first cage. It will add core strength where branches are the most stress on the center stalk. I've already added my 2nd cages and will likely add a 3rd final cage once the stretch has started to slow. Not only do they help with training but drastically help with overall plant strength especially in windy areas such as where I am. Best of wishes.
